Enhancement of CNCAN capabilities for integrated management systems and knowledge management

  • Activity A2.1: Follow-up of the current project of Integrated Management System (IMS) of CNCAN to support the implementation of IRRS recommendations.
  • Deliverables for A2.1:

 

-         Revised process map for the CNCAN IMS

-         A set of recommendations (regulatory IMS procedures) describing the - processes and their interfaces

-         A generic template for the definition/description of a process

-         A set of indicators for regulatory effectiveness

-         Documented management system processes and a revised management system manual

-         Training materials on the IMS and its processes

-         Management and staff trained on the IMS and its processes, including communications

-         10 new procedures (including performance indicators):

-         Licensing Process

-         Review and Assessment Process

-         Knowledge Management Process

-         CNCAN Integrated Management System Manual (includes the revised process map)

-         Management of non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions

-         training materials on the IMS and its processes;

-         management and staff trained on the IMS and its processes, including communications

 

  • Activity A2.2: Follow-up on the development and implementation of the Management System Inspection Tool developed based on GS-R-3, GS-G-3.5 and on the revised CNCAN regulations on management systems for nuclear facilities and activities

 

Deliverables for A2.2:

 

-         Revised management system inspection tool

-         Training materials for a training course in the implementation of the revised management system inspection tool

-         9 CNCAN inspectors trained on the use of the management system inspection tool

-         One laptop to run the inspection tool

 

  • Activity A2.3: Follow-up on the development of a Knowledge Management (KM) framework

 

Deliverables for A2.3:

 

-         Procedures and performance indicators for KM

-         A corporate knowledge portal for CNCAN

-         Definition of the model for the Romanian National System of Competencies for nuclear safety and safety culture, indicating the staffing levels and competencies for the nuclear regulatory body (CNCAN)

-         One laptop

-         A dedicated server to host the portal
