Press release- During 5-6 April 2018, a delegation from the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE) and Office of Radiological Security (ORS) within USDOE payed a visit in Romania in order to  cellebrate almost 10 years of cooperation in the field of radiological security between National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) within U.S.DOE and CNCAN.

In the period 9 – 16 October 2017, CNCAN has received a peer review mission „Integrated Regulatory Review Service” (IRRS), conducted under the auspices of the IAEA. The mission is a follow-up one and it is designated for evaluation of the progress achieved by CNCAN since the previous IRRS full-scope mission that took place in 2011.
