Nuclear safety culture govern attitudes and behaviors related to nuclear safety personnel CNCAN wide and it is supported by CNCAN management system.Within the organization and among the staff appropriate nuclear safety culture requirements is developing, documented within policy statements.
Nuclear safety culture is continuously evaluated and improved. In relation to authorization holders and other stakeholders, CNCAN promote nuclear safety culture and contribute to a better understanding of this concept and the characteristics and attributes associated to those in nuclear activities.
For a good nuclear security culture are of particular importance the following:
- The CNCAN’s independence as a regulatory authority;
- Management competence and professionalism at all levels;
- Clearly defined responsibilities and authority levels;
- The commitment to maintain nuclear safety as first priority in decision making.
